AVIA takes with neubourg a sustainable step into the future

neubourg skin care GmbH is now part of AVIA Pharma. On February 1, ownerand Managing Director Dr. Thomas Neubourg sold his shares to the Swedish company. The neubourg group of companies is thusentering the future with a strong partner. The commongoal is to pool expertise and further expand the portfolio in the skin, foot and nailcare sector. The take over by Avia is also associated with a change in management. Stefan Lang is the new Managing Director of neubourg skincare GmbH, while Thomas Neubourg will remain withthe company as a consultant.
The Germancompany neubourg, based in Greven, hasbeen a specialist in foam-based medical skin and foot care for over 25 years. Today, neubourg skin care GmbH's portfolio includes themarketleader Allpresan as well as other productlines such as Podoexpert, Onyfix, Fußpunkt, Sixtus and Skincare. With annual sales of around 15 million euros and around 70 employees, neubourg contributes to Avia's plan to acquire and further develop strong local brands in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Avia Pharma focuses on the keyareas of dermatology, allergology, women's health and urology and OTC branded products such as Nix, Duroferon, Allergika and now Allpresan.

Neubourg sees the exchange with another German Avia subsidiary, the pharmaceutical company Allergika, in particular as an opportunity.
Jacob Calmvik, co-founder and CEO of Avia, also expressed his enthusiasm for the integration of the neubourg group and emphasized his company's focus on acquiring first-class local brands such as Allpresan.
THE GREVEN SITE WILL BE RETAINED
Under the management of Avia, the company location in Greven will be retained. The customer care concept is to be further optimized in the future and take even greater account of the day-to-day practice of foot care and podiatry. In concrete terms, this means less field service on site and more events that are easier to plan and integrate into the practice processes.
